Design Consultations: I can work directly with you or through your interior designer. This initial consultation may be the most important step in the design process. This is where I will learn about your style, your likes and dislikes, and how you will want your space to look and feel when the project is complete.
For one room this consultation will last about an hour. It is during this time that I will begin to form ideas on how to approach your custom sample boards. While there I will take notes on all the elements of the space, lighting, furnishings, scale, flooring, and adjoining rooms. I will measure the space and take digital pictures that will later help you to understand my ideas. But most importantly I will educate you on industry trends, and new products and services that are available to you. But don't worry, I won't let you become overwhelmed! It's my job to help you with all of these choices.
Color Consultations: You may not be ready for custom finishes right now, but may want some help with color choices to coordinate your rooms. I can help. This consultation also takes about one hour. While I am there, feel free to pull out new carpet samples or counter top samples, that you want help with making the right choice.
Painted Furniture: Imaginative additions to any decor! Whether it is free standing or a built in, whether it is a flea market find or a treasured family piece, it may not be quite your style or in the best of shape. Why not paint it to be exactly what you want? I can come to your home to view the piece in the area you will place it, and we can talk about colors and ideas there. Or as an initial meeting, you can bring photos of the piece along with a door or drawer to the studio and we can talk about preliminary ideas there. I will be able to give you an estimate on price, but will later need to see the space to get the colors just right.
